Hand Colored Photo
b&w infrared film
I love to use different methods in my work. After trying different cameras and films, I decided to go digital.
I still use speciality films when working on special projects.
I specialize in "Hand" tinting of b&w photos
and use various methods to color, including photo oils and dried pigments.
I also print on a variety of papers and on canvas, as well as offering custom photo gifts for purchase.
My goal to keep challenging myself, learning new things, and giving back to the community help me produce work that I can take pride in.

Giving Back
I believe in giving back to the community. I have been a 4H leader in photography for 5 years, as well as conducting photo clubs for the youth. I have been available as a 4H judge in other counties. I volunteer at our local school in the Summer Art program teaching photo painting among other things, I have volunteered my time for 3 years for children to have an autographed photo of themselves with "Santa" during the annual "Shawnee Festival of Trees" fundraiser. I help conduct the photography exhibit in the Art Show of our county's annual "Apple Festival". I have exhibited my work in Bloomington, Martinsville, at Shawnee Theatre during their summer play season, and have showcased my work in the county annually for 6 years. I was invited to be one of the official photographers at the Indiana State FFA Convention 2009. I am also on the exhibition committee with the Bloomington Photo Club and will will be part of a group photographing various areas in Bloomington this spring for Bloom Magazine. I attended WPPI 2009 in Las Vegas by placing one of my Senior Photos in the finals in its category with a professional magazine contest: a Before and After photoshop contest.
A few years ago we decided to provide a free family photo for those living in our community and serving their country; while home on leave or before being deployed. Contact us for more information.
